Mick Preston - Actor

Mick Preston is an actor who has spent 9 years in New York City and 2 years in Los Angeles before relocating to Australia. Personally invited by Hagen to perform in her filmed masterclass for Acting Class by Uta Hagen, he has since built an international screen career playing complex, often darker characters across film and television.


His credits include:

  • Godzilla: Final Wars, filmed at Toho studios in Tokyo
  • Late Show with David Letterman alongside Tony Randall
  • Award-winning short film Little Xmas
  • City Homicide
  • Neighbours
  • A Best Actor–nominated performance in Evie Wants a Baby

He has also worked in comedy, live radio theatre, commercials, and sports films, including projects involving Jessica Mauboy and Luc Longley.


Outside acting, Preston is producing a mental health documentary, has written a script about carers and intellectually disabled adults, and trained in Wing Chun for six years.
